Mediation offers a reasoned, civilised and cost-effective means of assisting Parties through a difficult and stressful time and long-term research indicators show that Parties who have used mediation are less likely to be involved in long and costly (financial and emotional) negotiations, often through Court and involving a great deal of working time.
